It is the famous statue that greeted immigrants who arrived by ship to New York. It is located on what is now called Freedom Island. It is right in the middle of New York Harbor and is close to Manhattan. The statue represents the Roman goddess of freedom, Liberates. In one hand, she carries a torch and in the other, she carries a tablet which contains the law of the land. It was constructed in part. Each of these parts was constructed in France. These parts were then shipped in crates and assembled in the United States.





Venice, Italy

Venice or called Venezia  in italian.This beautiful island city is located on the northeast of italy peninsula and has the shore on adriatic sea.
