With their clear waters and pristine sand, the world’s top beaches make for a great snapshot.

Travel deal site Globehunters scoured the beaches of the Asia-Pacific region to pinpoint the 50 most Instagrammed, and the spots they found have everything from whale watching to long stretches of deserted sand for total relaxation.

Whether you’re in Australia, Asia, or island hopping, these are the sunny coastlines that provide the most spectacular and “like”-inducing scenery.

Of all the beaches in the region, the most Instagrammed goes to Australia’s Byron Bay, home to beaches beloved by everyone from surfers and artists to backpackers.

Byron Bay’s beauty inspired more than 1,800,000 Instagram posts, from Clarkes Beach and its whale spottings to Main Beach with its smaller, family friendly surf breaks and snorkeling opportunities. It also boasts stops like Wategos, a sheltered beach where bottlenose dolphins are known to play.

Australia’s Bondi Beach followed with 1,160,470 Instagram posts. The crescent-shaped beach is Sydney’s most famous and is lined with hip bars, cafes, and shops to peruse after spending the day riding waves or enjoying a picnic in one of its barbeque areas. The beach is also home to a skate park and a pool with dramatic views overlooking the ocean.

Locations like Bora Bora and El Nido, located on the remote Philippine Palawan archipelago, also made the list, with exciting hidden lagoons to explore.

Australia had several front runners in the mix, making up 32 percent of the total 50 beaches, while Thailand followed behind with 12 percent.

Below, you’ll find the top 15 beaches. The full list is available at globehunters.com.
